I aim to do at least 1 podcast and one vlog a week; sometimes there will be more, sometimes there will be less. But in general over the last 6 months on average it works out. I currently manage it all on about 1 focussed hour a day. Ideally it suits someone who already does a similar job, but wants to expand in to the cycle industry.

The Nitty Gritty ££
Initially unpaid; let's get that out of the way before the big sale. We currently don't take home a salary from Sick and neither will you, yet. As the business grows, as that changes, you'll be rewarded, both financially and with cool stuff. Of course we'll cover reasonable expenses and help you where we can. You'll also have the opportunity to shape the aesthetic and tone of digital content, building a portfolio and contacts.
In a startup we are all on the ground floor together. Let's build it up.

Working under the department of the Creative Director;

  • Creation of good quality content from submitted video, audio and photo
  • Editing a mass of different content from multiple devices; GoPro, iPhone, Android or potato phone and formatting it in to usable edits for social media
  • Applying grading and editing to create a colour palette and aesthetic for digital media
  • Shaping the way the brand is perceived, by providing a cohesive look and feel across content
  • Editing podcasts and Vlogs, adding start and end titles
  • Maintaining clear descriptions on videos, linking videos; feeding traffic to the main website
  • Applying the brand-pack rules to digital content
  • Content Is King, but consistency is key
  • You will need to actually know about bikes

Desirable but not a deal-breaker

  • Shooting with our riders and producing SHRedits in line with the brand
  • Shooting clothing, components and bikes in an exciting and interesting way
  • Familiar with Pinkbike / Singletrack World forums etc
  • Copywriting and Blogging
